Syrah
Vinos Zanzónico Syrah Reserva 2019, esteemed by many wine connoisseurs, won a Silver Medal in this same competition last year.
We are honored to have been awarded another Silver Medal this year for the the VZ Syrah Reserva 2020. We consider this wine to be the “flag ship” of our brand. It is simply magnificent.
Nebbiolo
The Nebbiolo grapes are not picked until they have developed their flavors to their fullest potential and are fully mature. The fruit is picked in the early morning when it is cooler so that it will be chilly when it gets to the winery. The grapes are manually sorted and de-stemmed in the cellar.
Chardonnay
Vinos Zanzónico Chardonnay Reserva 2022 received a Gold Medal. This smooth as silk flavorful wine has converted many people to become Chardonnay lovers for the first time.
The 2022 Chardonnay Reserva wine is characterized by its bright straw color, bouquet of pineapple and orange peel, and flavors of fresh tropical fruits. It has balanced body from front to back palate and a long silky finish. This 100% Chardonnay wine was barrel aged in French oak barrels (25% new oak and 75% single use) for 10 months, and bottle aged for four months before release.
